RETRO LOVE IN MONTE RIO

we had the best time shooting BETH + JAMIE up the coast in monte rio! they booked the cutest air bnb which was absolutely perfect for some photos!

it’s always so much fun to have LOVE + WOLVES BEAUTY on location for beauty and styling.

why not make the most of your shoot and switch things up with a few different looks and locations?!

it’s always so nice to get to spend some extra time getting to know our couples before their wedding day.

MAGIC NUPTIALS ON MOUNT TAM

the magic our couples have been able to create out of such grave circumstances is incredible.

between the shut downs, postponements, pandemic and wild fires, it’s inspiring to see love prevail.

we feel so lucky to be on the list of vendors when weddings are few and far between.

kristen + james’s might take the cake for one the sweetest elopements we’ve ever seen.

they escaped to mount tam for their ceremony, bubbles on bolinas beach followed by oysters and dinner back at their place.

sometimes the sweeter and simpler the better….

LOVE IS NOT CANCELED!

these two cuties were supposed to get married in brooklyn with 100+ people last month. instead, they opted for sweet socially distanced “i dos” in the sf botanical gardens with some select favorites.

to say they did things right is an understatement. they exchanged vows in the moon viewing garden followed by a picnic in the conifer meadow. stunning. everyone had their own blanket + pillow, a picnic basket with champagne, lobster rolls + pre-sliced cake. to top it off, they zoomed the entire thing for family to join in on the fun.

there are plenty of ways to still get married now + party later and we are happy to be a part of it all!

WOLVES WHO WANDER : YOSEMITE, MONO LAKE, BODIE, CA

here we are…finally jumping back into a little journaling not only on the stunning weddings that we’ve been a part of but also the journeys we love to take with our kiddos. we feel so lucky that our clients share so much of themselves with us that it is important to share our journey with you all, as well. there is a lot to catch you up on but we will start with our latest trip to yosemite.

we travel a lot for work and usually bring our pack with us . but its exceedingly rare for us to go on a work-free trip as a family. by november, we are always a little frazzled and exhausted. shooting season winding down and delivery season in full swing. so we decided to escape to one of our favorite places to tap back into the universe and re-center our souls…YOSEMITE! this trip was a little different than usual. instead of hiking backpacks we brought our bikes and decided to keep things really chill.

we started in the south entrance at the mariposa grove which was extremely special since we haven’t been since our wedding weekend due to closures and renovations. then we went to dinner at the wawona for a little ode to our wedding reception, then slowly made our way into the valley. little did we know it would not only be super quiet from off season but lit by the full moon. the next day we took our time biking, hiking and picnicking around the valley then finished up the night watching the full moon rise at glacier point. on our last full day we decided to head out of the park to mono lake then north to the ghost town of bodie. worth every minute of the drive. a place like no other.

it was just the trip we needed. always remember to give yourself time to turn off and reconnect with nature. we couldn’t be more thankful that our children are so adventurous and always up for the adventure, especially to the outdoors.
