Matty (West Coast DJ / Music Wizard / Ultimate Hype Man)

Matty is a talented DJ who specializes in weddings and events. Originally from Seattle, he moved to NYC for college and discovered his passion for DJing as he set the vibe for parties and gatherings. He became a resident DJ for Filibuster NYC, where he gained experience throwing large events and developed his funky disco-house sound. He is now a 13+ year veteran of the industry.

Matty has played over 100 events, including nightclubs and private parties, and has DJed countless weddings. He is highly experienced in setting up sound systems and lighting rigs. Matty works with top-of-the-line gear, including a Pioneer DDJ SX controller and QSC speakers. His style is open format, with a focus on funky disco house and 90's hip hop and house throwbacks. With his extensive experience and passion for creating memorable experiences, Matty is the perfect fit for any wedding or event.

Something you may not know: 

When Matty was 12 years old, he was so obsessed with Ichiro Suzuki that he had #51 shaved into his head. His photo ended up on the front page of the Seattle Times the very next day!
