THE BIRTH OF LAKE STONE MURPHY

we embarked on the second craziest adventure of our lives yesterday. the birth of our daughter lake stone murphy. our wolfpack is now complete.

we couldn't have asked for a more perfect way to welcome her to this plain of existence. at home. in water. supported by our fairy godmothers at one heart midwifery. they were able to make an already magical experience and make it even more meaningful. they allowed us to be present and enjoy the birth. there is no greater gift anyone could give us.

mama wolf rocked the shit out of labor and brought the coolest little wolf pup into this world.

sorry if we're MIA for a while, but we'll be busy soaking in the love.

A GOVERNORS ISLAND LOVE FEST

not your average wedding and oh, so happy we were a part of it.

a rainy day on an abandoned island?! yes, please. the juxtaposition between the decay of governors island with so much love, life and celebration was a stunning sight to see and capture. that plus all of the soft details (come on, a yellow wedding dress?)...we were in heaven.

we couldn't be more excited to share these photos with you. some of our favorite from the season so far. also, thanks to the below vendors for sharing their mad skills to make it happen.

WOLVES WHO WANDER : INTO THE LAKE

a downside to living in sacramento for the next year is the summers.... HELLA hot would be the best way to describe them. on the plus side, the goddess lake tahoe herself is a little over an hour away.

with wedding season in full swing and mama wolf almost being a full moon within this pregnancy we had to get away to keep our sanity...so to tahoe we went.  besides a little pit stop in one of our old fave silver mining towns (virginia city) we found ourselves extremely happy with days full of early morning beach time and afternoons floating in the pool. one thing this mama wolf prides herself in is finding dope spots to call home while on vacation. this time we found the coachman hotel, a renovated motel that was absolutely perfect for our short little jaunt to the woods.

we came home entirely relaxed and ready to take on the rest of the season and a birth.

in high hopes of a couple more getaways as a family of three... we shall see.

THAT YOSEMITE KINDA LOVE

GAH!

anytime a couple wants to head out to an epic location for some dope portraits we are down.

so when nicole and erik wanted to head to yosemite (our all time favorite place) for some photos we just about shit our pants and booked a trip right away. we love to turn any job into a chance to wander.

check out this sweet love session and hit us up if you want to get away for an adventure.
