JD has been a private event DJ for over 15 years. That’s 105 dog years!

Coming from the world of NYC bars and clubs, and eventually moving on to the wedding world, JD is a traditional DJ first and wedding DJ second. Skillful mixing, an expansive musical knowledge and an ability to read crowds keep his dance floors packed from start to finish. Your grandma will love him, your best friend will love him, your baby cousin will love him and YOU will love him. JD will tell your musical story with style, taste and attention to detail.

Something you may not know: 

After living in NYC for 25 years, JD moved to the Catskill Mountains with his wife and young daughter. They own a clothing shop in the town of Livingston Manor where they met Jake + Ash for the first time.

JD is so much more than just a DJ! We had multiple phone calls before the event so we knew we were on the same page! He captured the vibe perfectly and really made the night flow! He spoke with me and my husband before our wedding to get an understanding of what type of vibe we were going for - and he absolutely nailed it on the wedding day. Everyone of all ages was up and dancing the whole night! I also gave him a list of songs that were special to us and he was able to seamlessly mix these in with similar tracks.
On top of that, he also did a wonderful job with our reception timeline and announcements. Highly recommend :)
