there is nothing like love in nyc during the summer. there’s this playful energy that you can’t help but feel. its makes you want to get out and explore and then beat the heat and cooling off with your favorite cocktail. we figure you might as well get some pictures taken while your at it. we had so much fun following these two cuties around town.

our absolute favorite way to do an “engagement shoot” is to follow our couples around on a mini date…grabbing some cocktails and shots along the way.

last month, we got to capture the absolute sweetest elopement in the hills of ojai, ca. we always love a wedding where everyone is involved in the magic.
from the soft pink florals to the homemade chuppah by the groom to the stunning dress made by the bride herself, this wedding was nothing short of a labor of love.

MAGIC LOVE IN MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY
nothing like getting to pair up with LOVE + WOLVES CO BEAUTY for a fun love session in the graveyard. anytime a couple wants to shoot in a cemetery we get super excited.
our bride (ash) grew up going on walks here as a baby with her mom and spent many weekend nights hanging here as a teenager.
this was our first time getting to explore the mountain view cemetery and WOW were we impressed! it was designed by frederick olmsted (the landscape architect who also designed central park).
if you ever get the chance it’s at least worth a drive through it.
