YES!! IN YUCCA VALLEY

TARA + CAMERON originally came to us with the idea of eloping in vegas and our ears perked up. but when they changed their minds from an elopement just the four of us to a micro wedding in the desert of yucca valley, we were beyond thrilled.

not only were we there for photo + beauty but we were honored to also be there for styling + design as well. it’s always so fun to make our couples wedding day come to life and turn their visions into reality.

with a stunning backdrop of joshua tree’s giant boulders it is a must to eat outside under the stars.

mod west was the perfect venue for a mini wedding.

and if you’re ever questioning renting a cool car for your wedding day, let these images remind you to 100% DO IT.
remember folks: just because you’re keeping it intimate and small doesn’t mean you can’t have it all!

THE PERFECT UNION AT THE UNION HOTEL

it felt amazing to get out of dodge and do a little destination wedding. if you haven’t been to the sweet town of los alamos, we highly recommend it.

great food, wine + overall vibes.

we felt so lucky to be a part of COLLEEN + WILL’S intimate wedding. it meant a lot to us to celebrate love again. especially in times like these. it was especially nice to have the whole wolfpack there for photo, video + beauty.

WOLVES WHO WANDER : YOSEMITE, MONO LAKE, BODIE, CA

here we are…finally jumping back into a little journaling not only on the stunning weddings that we’ve been a part of but also the journeys we love to take with our kiddos. we feel so lucky that our clients share so much of themselves with us that it is important to share our journey with you all, as well. there is a lot to catch you up on but we will start with our latest trip to yosemite.

we travel a lot for work and usually bring our pack with us . but its exceedingly rare for us to go on a work-free trip as a family. by november, we are always a little frazzled and exhausted. shooting season winding down and delivery season in full swing. so we decided to escape to one of our favorite places to tap back into the universe and re-center our souls…YOSEMITE! this trip was a little different than usual. instead of hiking backpacks we brought our bikes and decided to keep things really chill.

we started in the south entrance at the mariposa grove which was extremely special since we haven’t been since our wedding weekend due to closures and renovations. then we went to dinner at the wawona for a little ode to our wedding reception, then slowly made our way into the valley. little did we know it would not only be super quiet from off season but lit by the full moon. the next day we took our time biking, hiking and picnicking around the valley then finished up the night watching the full moon rise at glacier point. on our last full day we decided to head out of the park to mono lake then north to the ghost town of bodie. worth every minute of the drive. a place like no other.

it was just the trip we needed. always remember to give yourself time to turn off and reconnect with nature. we couldn’t be more thankful that our children are so adventurous and always up for the adventure, especially to the outdoors.

from the soft pink florals to the homemade chuppah by the groom to the stunning dress made by the bride herself, this wedding was nothing short of a labor of love.
