ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE IN LOS ALAMOS

Damn it felt good to be back at 1880 Union hotel. We were beside ourselves to finally see over 50 guests in one spot to celebrate our favorite thing : LOVE.

Yeah, we know it is cheesy AF but we adore what we do and are beyond stoked that our work revolves around so much beauty.

Here is Jen + Kasey’s 5-star review :

“#1 wedding photographer hands down!

Jake and his team were amazing from the start. Professional, talented, easygoing, you name it! They made our wedding day and memories of it perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and our pictures and video captured our most special day perfectly.”

WOLVES WHO WANDER : YOSEMITE, MONO LAKE, BODIE, CA

here we are…finally jumping back into a little journaling not only on the stunning weddings that we’ve been a part of but also the journeys we love to take with our kiddos. we feel so lucky that our clients share so much of themselves with us that it is important to share our journey with you all, as well. there is a lot to catch you up on but we will start with our latest trip to yosemite.

we travel a lot for work and usually bring our pack with us . but its exceedingly rare for us to go on a work-free trip as a family. by november, we are always a little frazzled and exhausted. shooting season winding down and delivery season in full swing. so we decided to escape to one of our favorite places to tap back into the universe and re-center our souls…YOSEMITE! this trip was a little different than usual. instead of hiking backpacks we brought our bikes and decided to keep things really chill.

we started in the south entrance at the mariposa grove which was extremely special since we haven’t been since our wedding weekend due to closures and renovations. then we went to dinner at the wawona for a little ode to our wedding reception, then slowly made our way into the valley. little did we know it would not only be super quiet from off season but lit by the full moon. the next day we took our time biking, hiking and picnicking around the valley then finished up the night watching the full moon rise at glacier point. on our last full day we decided to head out of the park to mono lake then north to the ghost town of bodie. worth every minute of the drive. a place like no other.

it was just the trip we needed. always remember to give yourself time to turn off and reconnect with nature. we couldn’t be more thankful that our children are so adventurous and always up for the adventure, especially to the outdoors.

HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART I DOS

bethany and daniel had the sweetest wedding to match their oh so sweet love story. they met at a summer camp when they were kids, went to prom together but then went their separate ways.

their love rekindled many moons later and has been on fire ever since.

we feel so lucky we got to capture such a special day for them and are so stoked to share it with you all. photos by LOVE + WOLVES CO.

a special thank you to all the vendors below who put together a day full of beauty…

LOVE IN STINSON BEACH

there’s something about the “off season” that’s so nice.

why is that? because you get those smaller weddings where you feel lucky to be a part of something so special and intimate. and, of course, jake + ash love tag teaming any couples special day with photo + beauty.

this was such a pretty ceremony at the top of mount tamalpais followed by a reception at a private home on the stunning coast of stinson beach.
