RAINY DAY ROMANCE AT TIMBER LAKE WEST

timber lake west is truly a special place to us. we always love any chance we get to head up to roscoe to captured some good old fashion love! there’s something about camp weddings that makes us feel warm and cozy. anna + charlie’s love is so sweet and it really shows. i mean, playing your bride down the aisle with a guitar!? come on. it doesn’t get any better than that. major brownie points, charlie.

as always, a special thanks to all the incredible vendors below for making the magic happen!

WOLVES WHO WANDER : YOSEMITE, MONO LAKE, BODIE, CA

here we are…finally jumping back into a little journaling not only on the stunning weddings that we’ve been a part of but also the journeys we love to take with our kiddos. we feel so lucky that our clients share so much of themselves with us that it is important to share our journey with you all, as well. there is a lot to catch you up on but we will start with our latest trip to yosemite.

we travel a lot for work and usually bring our pack with us . but its exceedingly rare for us to go on a work-free trip as a family. by november, we are always a little frazzled and exhausted. shooting season winding down and delivery season in full swing. so we decided to escape to one of our favorite places to tap back into the universe and re-center our souls…YOSEMITE! this trip was a little different than usual. instead of hiking backpacks we brought our bikes and decided to keep things really chill.

we started in the south entrance at the mariposa grove which was extremely special since we haven’t been since our wedding weekend due to closures and renovations. then we went to dinner at the wawona for a little ode to our wedding reception, then slowly made our way into the valley. little did we know it would not only be super quiet from off season but lit by the full moon. the next day we took our time biking, hiking and picnicking around the valley then finished up the night watching the full moon rise at glacier point. on our last full day we decided to head out of the park to mono lake then north to the ghost town of bodie. worth every minute of the drive. a place like no other.

it was just the trip we needed. always remember to give yourself time to turn off and reconnect with nature. we couldn’t be more thankful that our children are so adventurous and always up for the adventure, especially to the outdoors.

GETTING COZY AT THE BELLEVUE CLUB

FUCK YES! Jamie + Beau’s engagement shoot might be our favorite to date. They came with ideas, props and above all, trust. Even though they probably felt a little awkward being photographed, they were confident in our work which made everything GOLDEN. Enjoy this super sweet “Wes Anderson” inspired story below. Now we need to be members at the Bellevue club. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding day!

BOISTEROUS NUPTIALS AT BASILICA HUDSON

we love any adventure up to hudson ny, especially for a wedding at basilica hudson.

there is always something so special about weddings there. each wedding always has those touches that fit our couples love perfectly.

we were stoked with every detail from this one. from the array of florals, mixed glassware, embroidered table numbers, ribbon tree, second line and the indoor swing (yes, a swing courtesy of Hudson Valley Ceremonies!).

we had such a great time capturing heather + evan’s celebration. it was nothing short of stunning and all about fun!

a special thanks to all the talented vendors below!
