MAGIC NUPTIALS ON MOUNT TAM

the magic our couples have been able to create out of such grave circumstances is incredible.

between the shut downs, postponements, pandemic and wild fires, it’s inspiring to see love prevail.

we feel so lucky to be on the list of vendors when weddings are few and far between.

kristen + james’s might take the cake for one the sweetest elopements we’ve ever seen.

they escaped to mount tam for their ceremony, bubbles on bolinas beach followed by oysters and dinner back at their place.

sometimes the sweeter and simpler the better….

STYLISH I DOS IN SANTA BARBARA

we’re just dropping in to share these stunning elopement photos by dan. sometimes all you need is a picturesque city hall, some good style and your one + only. we absolutely loved everything about EILEEN + JOSH’S santa barbara elopement. as always, we are suckers for a puffy sleeve and anytime our brides pick a color other than white to wear.

the perfect day for the perfect pair.

ROTUNDA I DO'S!

oh, how we loved being a part of TESSA + KIRAN’S wedding celebration. probably the most chill couple we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. they had their prep at one of our favorite spots: the proper hotel. then they rented the entire rotunda at sf city hall for an epic ceremony. followed by a sweet reception at the greens restaurant on the water. it was such a special day! their love is the kind of love that gives you butterflies in your stomach and we were so thankful to have had experienced it with them!

FIVE STAR REVIEW:

Incredible Collaborative Experience | Photography + Beauty

The all encompassing services and expertise Jake, Ash, and their teams delivered the day of our wedding was the single best investment we made. They are unflappable, seasoned professionals, and cool as hell.

--- Photography ---

Jake captured the story of our wedding weekend with an intimate authenticity that you can’t put a price on. His affable personality and documentary style of shooting enabled him to capture us and our loved ones as they were while experiencing the celebration. He left us with a great shot of everyone who attended. Looking at our photos transports us to every scene and memory as it unfolded that weekend after months of planning and not some sanitized Glamour Shot version. His work exceeded our expectations and will bring us joy for years to come. In addition to the incredible photos, he and Cory our second shooter where extremely personable and professional. They were thoroughly prepared handling venue surprises, high emotions, and wardrobe malfunctions with a sense of calm and expertise that gave me the comfort and confidence to take it in stride.

--- Beauty ---

Ash is an incredibly talented makeup artist who can deliver on any look you put in front of her. Her genuine desire to build people up and celebrate their natural beauty and style comes through in her execution. There is no day you want to look better than your wedding day and she gets that better than anybody. Ash and Mary delivered not only for me as the bride, but for my whole bridal party including Mom and Grandma.

She was collaborative in her communication, open to the pics I shared, and had great ideas on how to bring the look to life on me. I did a run through with her and she did my rehearsal dinner, which I highly recommend. By the time the wedding morning came we were in sync and I was able to let go and enjoy. I also did a second look which I was on the fence about, but super glad I did!

In addition to fabulous hair and makeup Ash 100% saved my morning with some 1:1 take a deep breath advice that helped me keep perspective and a smile when things got hectic.

We’d highly recommend partnering with Love + Wolves Co. to bring your wedding vision to life. We’re grateful to now be part of the pack!

WOLVES WHO WANDER : YOSEMITE, MONO LAKE, BODIE, CA

here we are…finally jumping back into a little journaling not only on the stunning weddings that we’ve been a part of but also the journeys we love to take with our kiddos. we feel so lucky that our clients share so much of themselves with us that it is important to share our journey with you all, as well. there is a lot to catch you up on but we will start with our latest trip to yosemite.

we travel a lot for work and usually bring our pack with us . but its exceedingly rare for us to go on a work-free trip as a family. by november, we are always a little frazzled and exhausted. shooting season winding down and delivery season in full swing. so we decided to escape to one of our favorite places to tap back into the universe and re-center our souls…YOSEMITE! this trip was a little different than usual. instead of hiking backpacks we brought our bikes and decided to keep things really chill.

we started in the south entrance at the mariposa grove which was extremely special since we haven’t been since our wedding weekend due to closures and renovations. then we went to dinner at the wawona for a little ode to our wedding reception, then slowly made our way into the valley. little did we know it would not only be super quiet from off season but lit by the full moon. the next day we took our time biking, hiking and picnicking around the valley then finished up the night watching the full moon rise at glacier point. on our last full day we decided to head out of the park to mono lake then north to the ghost town of bodie. worth every minute of the drive. a place like no other.

it was just the trip we needed. always remember to give yourself time to turn off and reconnect with nature. we couldn’t be more thankful that our children are so adventurous and always up for the adventure, especially to the outdoors.
